In the midst of my darkest valley, I have found peace in a prayer. The Lord has shown me that with His help and guidance, even when I feel like everything is falling apart around me, I can always serenity in his presence.

So if you’re feeling anxious about something, take a moment to relax and pray! It’s not easy at first but over time it will become easier to do this simple act which brings us closer to God.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff— they comfort me. – Psalm 23:1-4

You may be wondering, “What does this scripture really mean? What does it look like to walk in God’s ways?”

The Lord is my shepherd. This means that God cares for you and provides for your needs.

He will lead you in right paths for his name’s sake. It doesn’t matter where you are or what kind of situation you are going through, God has a plan and a purpose for every season of life that we walk through! Even though I walk through the darkest valley… fear no evil; because God is with me and he promises to comfort us in every situation.

When you are anxious about something, it can be difficult to calm yourself down. It might help to take deep breaths or even count to 100 if necessary before getting back up on your feet again. You may also want to try some physical exercise – this will get your endorphins flowing so that you feel better after the workout has finished!

Another helpful tip is “Be still.” When we allow ourselves time each day where we just sit quietly without distractions from our thoughts or other people around us then we are able to focus on God more easily which helps bring peace into our lives – even during stressful times of difficulty.

In the Bible, the Apostle Paul writes about prayer in Philippians 4:7-8: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure… think on these things.”

This verse tells us that:

Prayer helps us grow closer to God

Prayer makes us better people (more loving and compassionate)

You can also pray about prayers: ask God to give you patience with yourself as you learn how to pray effectively, or ask him to remind you what it means when he says “ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7).

If you’re still struggling with anxiety, take heart—the Lord is ready to help you. Pray about your anxiety, then go out and serve others in need. The more we focus on helping others, the less time we have for ourselves and our own problems. This is a great way to reduce stress and worry!
