Hello August,

Ladies this isn’t your normal biblical blog or post with spiritual depth and insight. This is a heartfelt letter that I hope will encourage you to keep pressing forward. So lately I’ve been behind in my tasks (including these posts), and I honestly feel like quitting (the easy way out.) But when I think about what God deposits into me I get some sort of refreshing that falls upon me and causes me to push forward. I know there may be others of you who feel this same way, you just want a break or you feel like giving up. DON’T!

Whatever it is that God has tasked you with to complete, know that He will give you the strength to push forward. I know there are moms who just want a break and women who just want to take a vacation to relax. Do that, take your break, go on vacation, but don’t give up you have something that someone else needs. You have a word, a book, a blog, a word of advice, a song, a whatever God has given you to share with others. DO IT!

Don’t allow the way you feel (an emotion) to cause you to miss out on blessing others.

God has uniquely created you to be and do exactly what you’re doing now. Do it with the grace that He freely gives, do it with the love that He so frequently gives, do it with the humility that He calls us to walk in, and do it with the unspeakable peace that you know consumes you when you take time to rest in His presence.

I pray you read this and receive fresh anointing to push forward to the end of the year.

Sincerely,

      Mika Washington
